Thursday

Say, "Goodbye, Steve, good buddy".

Games tonight. 3 is supposed to be in town for the evening, on her way to a Chicago weekend.

It seems to me that the Selection Committee did no favors for Kansas. KU gets a number one seed, but in the West region. UCLA gets the two seed in the West, where the Regional games will be played in San Jose. Uh, who is likely to have the better environment? The Jayhawks have to first beat an underdog that the casual fan will favor, and then, likely, UCLA. (Similarly, Texas A&M, the three seed in the South, plays their Regionals in San Antonio.)

I was glad to see theUSAFA get to the semi-finals of the NIT with a home win last night. The fly boys get to play at MSG next week. They have a good coach whom they may be hard-pressed to keep.

Bettendorf is soon getting a new fitness club, Anytime Fitness, in the recently completed strip center at the corner of Devils Glen and 53rd. A graduate of Assumption and Loras, Molly Campana, is the manager. Bettendorf needed a new fitness club.

Hope everyone has a good evening.

Be careful out there.

I made friends with the owner of that new fitness club last night. He gave me his card. And told me to call Molly about getting enrolled without any fees. Dad, if your interested, I can give you Chips card :)
