No blog today. I didn't get this done at the office, and my wireless connection with the laptop is down. I'm pirating a connection, and I suspect that it will be going away shortly.

In reference to a question directed to me many many posts ago (which I failed to answer), regarding a 'sin tax' of sorts on bottled water in Chicago - I intended to reply that I remained unaffected because I spend most of my water-drinking-hours (any hour not at work is a wine-drinking-hour...) at the office, where bottled water is provided for our drinking pleasure. Regretably, today this single pleasure of working life was ruthlessly ripped from us, as someone in the accounts department determined they could pass off a budget cut as a 'going green' initiative. We are now to be provided water filters and cups. Oh, the humanity.
2. Dad, I appreciated your message, and the delightful sentiment that I might indeed not be at the office post- 9pm. I was at the gym. It was very nice to see you, too this weekend although it was too bad the circumstances were such as they were.
