My picks with the spreads:
Kentucky giving 8 1/2 over Cornell - Taking Kentucky, giving the points.
West Virginia giving 4 1/2 over Washington - Taking Washington and the points.
Syracuse giving 6 1/2 over Butler - Taking the 'Cuse, giving the points.
K-State giving 5 1/2 over Xavier - Taking Xavier and the points.
Somebody out there could probably make some dough shorting my picks.

kind of annoying that i commented yesterday and it didn't show up. an abbreviated version:
the new gold card is nowhere near as good as the old one. after emailing sb's about some program details i couldn't find on the website (after waiting on hold for 15 minutes i emailed and got a relply a little over a week later) i learned that you only earn one star per transaction no matter how many drinks you buy. so much for earning a free drink after you buy 15. you earn a free drink after 15 transactions. of course i couldn't find this anywhere on their FAQ page. also, you can only use the card if it has money on it. this does force you to account for how much you are spending, which may work to sb's disadvantage? i cash in credit card points for sb cards so i rarely have to use my own $$. i definitely spend less there now than i did with the 10% discount. even though it wasn't that much off, i felt less guilty buying a muffin if i wasn't paying full price. now there is no perk besides the extra calories.
i guess that wasn't really an abreviated version....
