Friday AM

I keep forgetting to add this little item.

My Turkey Trot training these first couple of weeks is on the Shel Siverstein route: I run from my house over to Devil's Glen Road and then turn and run north on Devil's Glen until the sidewalk ends across from Crow Creek Park. Then it's back home. Around 2.2 or 2.3 or so which is the right distance for me now.

In my mind, I can hear 3 rattle off some of those odd poems from the book.

Have a great day out there!

But be careful...

I did not take the nap,
the nap took me!
Off the bed and out the window
far beyond the sea.
To a land where sleepy heads
read only comic books
and lock their naps in iron safes
so that they can't get took...

haha, i'll spare you the rest. but you know i know it.

Nice Mare. I often think about the "I cannot go to school today" and wonder if it can be reworded to "I cannot go to work today".

The trip to Chicago went fine. (2 went, not 3) Old people LOVE me. I was a little nervous on the ride there, the traffic was bad and I didn't know if we were going to make it on time, but we did and I think everyone had a good time. I made a few new friends. They'll probably call me soon to come hang out. Suite.

I will be running the Turkey Trot. Why not? I mean, I ran the Bix and it was awesome. It will give me something to work towards. I have been very unmotivated to work out recently, so maybe this will get me back in the mood.

Kate, good luck with school and coaching. I'm sure you'll do great. I think we'll have to come up for a game to see you in action. You can go ahead and forward me your schedule so I can fit you into mine. I'm a very busy person. I'm going to Florida in less than two weeks. Yea, thats right, I'll be on the beach. I will also be going to an awesome outlet mall to hit up the end of season sales. Be jealous. Very jealous.

Late night at work tonight. We are having a member preview. I'm going to make more old people friends. Again, seriously, they love me.

And that is all I have to say. Love ya
