Not much new here in the desert.
I did encounter another example of "it's a small world". While speaking with a salesman at a random vendor booth, another guy comes up with and I notice his unusual surname on his badge. I comment on it, that I knew a family back in the Midwest with that name. Turns out he is the son of a high school classmate from Ottumwa.
Hope 4 can find the time to give us a little glimpse of her world.

I'll add something brief. My trip to Dallas was a success, no major hicups along the way. 1 & 1.1's wedding was much better in all aspects though. But, really our family weddings are pretty hard to beat.
I have found that visiting some of my college friends can be tiresome even after only a day. And on this trip I realized why I got so worn out being around them. I have to be NICE and pleasant. And we all know, I am not always nice and pleasant. Or, better yet, complementary. Some of those girls have no sense of humor and look at me like I've insulted the world when I a make a sarcasic comment. Goodness. Lighten up! G W Bush isn't the best president ever and I'm not the only person in the country to think so - I don't deserve to be put into exile for thinking that! So, I a try and be nice, and that just becomes fake, and they all know it, so they give me even worse looks. ARG. Darn baptists.
Tonight I have my first watercolor class, so you all know what you will be getting for Christmas....
It's a shame, I work in an art museum and I am a terrible terrible artist...
