Fun evening in IC. We booked before the senior speeches.
The laggards to get done tomorrow. The first day of the rest of my life is Tuesday.
BTW...I've registered online for the Turkey Trot. I've sent the link to your email accounts.

I have a book to recommend to those who like to read about what it was like in rural Iowa in the "olden" days: Little Heathens; Hard Time and High Spirits on an Iowa farm during the Great Depression by Mildred Armstrong Kalish.
She was born in 1922 so is 15 years older than me. The farm was near Garrison. They sold cream to what would later become The Old Creamery Theater.
There are chapters on country school, farm food, chores, milking, gathering wood etc. Brought back lots of memories.
Sue Weiss liked it so it appeals to more than my generation.
