Dad's alive. He made it through the operation. He still can't feel his arm and gets a little woozy when standing too long, but we think he's going to make it :) And most importantly, he got his 16 miles in this morning.
He has a cast on his right arm, so Charlie, what did John say on the train to Berlin about left handedness running in the family? Do you think dad could learn it? Maybe he has a recessive left handed gene he doesn't know about.. :)
I'm sure dad wouldn't mind a few guest bloggers, or for Char to update hers since he will have a hard time posting with his one hand. Although, I wouldn't put it past him to break out the old dictaphone (sp?) and make me transcribe it each night.....
