we had our own fff (without lucy) and survived. it entailed a lot of holding hands, recalling the reasons we fell in love, and telling each other how great we are. matt found it especially enlightening seeing as how he is such a lovey-dovey communicator-type. the high point was when we were released 30 minutes early. we are scheduled for six more hours tomorrow and we've already run out of things to say for why we like each other. we're looking forward to learning more about NFP. just kidding we don't want 20 kids. (no offense to those people out there whom it worked for.)

congratulations on the successful premarital retreat. i'm glad you are both renewing your love for one another. it's a beautiful thing.
I also hope that Matt and Katie can continue to grow in love and mutual respect.
Your premarital retreat will undoubtedly prepare you for the adventure that is marraige more than any college basketball game could ever do...
